Countermade is the Shopify POS line from Invenire Studios
It’s the name we use for our small Shopify POS apps and the guides that go with them, not a separate company.
Invenire Studios is an independent software studio based in Australia. A lot of what happens at a shop counter doesn’t fit neatly into Shopify POS: a customer orders over the phone, or a cake needs a ticket before anyone has paid. Shopify can usually do it, but in more steps than a busy counter has time for.
What we build
We build small apps that each do one of those jobs inside Shopify POS, where staff already work. Pay Link turns a POS cart or a draft saved in POS into a link the customer pays on Shopify’s own secure checkout. Prep Ticket prints a price-free ticket from a draft order. Both are coming soon, and early access is open.
How we write
Our Shopify POS guides walk through the jobs that come up at the counter, step by step, with the exact menu names you’ll see. Shopify facts are checked against Shopify’s help pages, and competitor prices are dated.
